Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AME Company for Medical Supplies (شركة ألف ميم ياء للمعدات والأجهزة الطبية), a Saudi joint stock company, Commercial Registration No. 4030186415, with its head office in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect and why

We only collect the personal data you send us, and a few details about how the website is used:

• When you contact us (Contact page): your name, email address, phone number, the subject (optional) and your message. We use them to reply to you.
• When you request a quote (product pages): your name, email address, phone number and the product you asked about. We use them to prepare your quotation and follow it up with you.
• When you apply for a job (Careers page): your first and last name, email address, phone number, the position you apply for, your years of experience, your LinkedIn or portfolio link and cover letter (if you add them), and your CV. We use them to assess your application and to contact you about it. If you send a general application, we may also contact you when a suitable opportunity opens.
• When you browse the website: we record usage statistics that do not identify you: the page you view and its language, the website that sent you here (its name only, such as google.com), your type of device, browser and operating system, and your approximate country and city. Your IP address is used only for a moment, to estimate your location and to create a visitor code that changes every day; the IP address itself is not stored in these statistics. We use them to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Visits by our signed-in staff and by automated programs (bots) are not counted.
• Server logs: like most websites, our web server keeps a technical record of each request, including the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and browser details, for up to 30 days, to keep the website secure and to fix problems.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising cookies, or analytics or tracking tools from other companies. The website uses:

• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the language you chose, Arabic or English. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• ame_intro (cookie): remembers that you have seen the opening animation, so it is not shown on every page. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• ame_visit (stored in your browser, not a cookie): a random code and the time of your last page view, used to count the pages that belong to one visit. It contains no personal details, starts again after 30 minutes without activity, and you can remove it by clearing your browser data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but it may not remember your language.

Our Investor Relations page shows market data from Argaam in an embedded frame. When that page loads, Argaam receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, and may use cookies under its own privacy policy.

4. Why we may use your data

We use your personal data:

• with your consent, which you give when you send us a form. You can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights);
• to do what you ask us to do, such as replying to you or preparing a quote;
• where needed to keep the website secure and working, and to comply with the law.

5. Who can see your data

Only the AME staff who need your data to handle your request can see it, together with the companies that host and maintain this website for us. They may access it only to run the website, and must keep it confidential.

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We may disclose it if a law or a competent authority requires us to.

6. Where we keep your data, and for how long

Your data is kept on servers located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We keep contact messages, quote requests and job applications only for as long as we need them for the purpose you sent them for, and we delete them when that purpose ends or when you ask us to. After we delete data, its copies in our security backups are removed automatically within 21 days.

Usage statistics do not identify you; we keep them to follow trends over time. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

7. How we protect your data

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The data you send can be viewed only by signed-in AME staff, CVs cannot be reached through any public link, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

• be informed about how your data is collected and used, which is what this policy does;
• access your data and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed;
• withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what we did with your data before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, write to info@ame.med.sa. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the time the law sets. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

9. Children

This website is intended for adults and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as social networks and Google Maps. When you visit them, their own privacy policies apply.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
