MINT

Absorbable PDO threads by HansBiomed

MINT™ (Minimally Invasive Non-surgical Thread) is the absorbable polydioxanone (PDO) thread range of HansBiomed Corp., based in Seoul, South Korea. Its barbs, press-molded by a patented method, wind 360 degrees around the thread, anchoring and fixing tissue in all directions. MINT holds US FDA 510(k) clearance as an absorbable PDO surgical suture, indicated for soft tissue approximation where absorbable sutures are appropriate. Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has approved it as a facial tissue fixation thread to improve wrinkles, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved it, and it is CE-marked in Europe.

MINT EASY

A long PDO thread with bi-directional barbs and a sharp 19G needle at each end. MINT EASY is a 424 mm, USP 1-0 thread for the neck and double chin, packed 2 threads in 1 pouch per box.

MINT 43

A 430 mm PDO thread with bi-directional barbs, whose needle is supplied separately. MINT 43 is a USP 1 thread with 360-degree helical barbs, packed 2 threads per pouch.

MINT TIP

A short 40 mm PDO thread with bi-directional barbs, pre-loaded on a 19G L-type cannula. MINT TIP is a USP 2-0 thread for detailed work on the nasal columella and other small areas, often used with MINT UP.

MINT UP

A 95 mm PDO thread with a uni-directional and a multi-directional barb zone, pre-loaded on a 19G L-type cannula. MINT UP is a USP 2-0 thread for the nose bridge, eyebrows, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, often used with MINT TIP.

MINT FINE

A 150 mm PDO thread with bi-directional barbs, pre-loaded on an 18G W-type cannula. MINT FINE is a USP 2-0 thread for the jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

MINT PETIT

A 140 mm PDO thread with bi-directional barbs, pre-loaded on a 19G W-type cannula. MINT PETIT is a USP 2-0 thread that offers the benefits of MINT FINE in a compact form, for the eyebrows, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

MINT MINI

A 170 mm PDO thread with bi-directional barbs, whose cannula is supplied separately. MINT MINI is a USP 1 thread with 360-degree helical barbs, packed 2 threads per pouch.

MINT FIX

A 150 mm PDO thread with multi-directional barbs, pre-loaded on an 18G W-type cannula. MINT FIX is a USP 2-0 supplementary thread, used with bi-directional threads, for the eyebrows, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and neck.

MINT FIX-MINI

A short 60 mm PDO thread with multi-directional barbs, pre-loaded on a 19G W-type cannula. MINT FIX-MINI is a short version of MINT FIX, a USP 2-0 supplementary thread for the neck, eyebrows, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

MINT MONO

Smooth PDO threads that stimulate collagen production for skin rejuvenation. MINT MONO comes in four types (Mono, Mono Screw, Twin and Twin Screw) on 25G to 30G needles, packed 50 threads per pouch.
